Notes by yeyette on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 under Featured, Mindanao

Standard Post with ImageAfter all the hassles given by Cebu Pacific Airline, we arrived Camiguin safely. Camiguin is an island province in the Philippines located in the Bohol Sea, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) off the northern coast of Mindanao. It is politically part of the Northern Mindanao Region of the country and formerly a part of Misamis Oriental province. Notes by yeyette on Friday, March 13th, 2015 under Mindanao

Standard Post with ImageAfter getting around at Birhen sa Moog, I told my brother to go to Divine Mercy at El Salvador. My last visit of this place was 2008, around March or April and this is the place where I asked that I can go abroad and find a job. And so I did on October 2008 and found a job on the 9th day of stay in Singapore, just before the recession happens. Way back, the place was just started to open to the public. The workers are still doing with the shrine. Now, everything is finished and it is the…more

Birhen sa Moog

Notes by yeyette on Thursday, February 5th, 2015 under Mindanao

Standard Post with ImageI asked my brother a day before to go to my father's place in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental. It's been 10 years since I didn't visit his birthplace. I have never been to "Birhen sa Moog" as well, which is famous to it's clear water. The place is far from the highway and you must have your own transportation. We started the journey at 7AM with his motorcycle. It's an hour journey from our place but it's near the airport. The place is not touristy and so far only locals go there. It rains the night before and the land was…more

Dahilayan Adventure Park

Notes by traveldiary007 on Monday, December 19th, 2011 under Mindanao

Standard Post with ImageDahilayan Adventure Park is located in Camp Phillips Bukidnon, just a 2 hour ride from Cagayan de Oro City, that is, if you have your own car or by taxi.  Riding a jeepney is not difficult but it is time consuming.  If you are from the other side of the world or outside Cagayan de Oro City and you will land in Lumbia Airport, just take a taxi going to the city.  But beware of the taxi driver who will charge you a neck-high fare so do bargain them well.  Taxi fare from Lumbia airport to the city is about…more
