Chinese New Year… this is when Chinese families gather together to a time for a LONG HOLIDAY! I love this holiday especially when it falls on Sunday and Monday, meaning Tuesday will be holiday in-lieu on Sunday. So, I had planned earlier where to go and I set my mind to go to Tioman Island together with my girl-friends. But when I check the ferry, they are closed for monsoon season so I have to change plan. That is where I booked Cameron but sad to say that my friends don’t want a long travel and so they decided to go to Bintan. Heck, I’ve been there so it’s out in the list. I pursue my plan going to Cameron, alone and it excites me even more to go to that place. I always wanted to go there and this is the best time to go.
It’s one month before my travel and I checked the hotel, only few hotels left to book and I also check the bus and this is the tricky part. I have to book the bus first before the hotel. I checked a direct bus from Singapore to Cameron but it was all fully booked so my second option is to book from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur then to Cameron. Problem solved! I’ve booked a ticket from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur thru busonlineticket for the price of SGD68.25 then another bus from the same website from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron for the price of RM36.75 (around SGD15.00). The bus will leave from Singapore to KL at 10:30PM and from KL to Cameron at 8:30AM.
Luckily, I booked the ticket from Cameron to Singapore directly from konsortium for the price of SGD91.00 and it will leave in Cameron at 10:00AM from Equatorial Hotel.
Next, I booked Century Pines Resort for four days and three nights. First, I was planning to book Father’s Guesthouse but when I inquire, they are already fully booked. So, I booked Century Pines and then after a day that I booked, I received another email from Father’s Guesthouse that they read my email wrongly, that they still have a vacant room for the dates that I was inquiring at. Unfortunately, Century Pines won’t allow cancellation and I already paid in the amount of USD252.27 (SGD317.57) with free breakfast and in a superior garden.
